How we walk together here
Terms of Use
Updated August 14, 2026
By creating an account, signing in, or using The Bridge or related pages on this site, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
The Bridge is Arise Church’s online home: sermons, music, Scripture tools, private journals, prayer, and community features for people walking with this house. Some features require an account. Some community features open only after leadership invites or approves access. Space-sharing and the Organization Portal help groups request shared use of facilities; they are part of this house’s ministry, not a consumer marketplace.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. New accounts may require leadership approval before full access is granted. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms, harm others, or put the house or the service at risk.
Private content
Journals, prophetic words, visions, Clarity entries, and similar private materials belong to the person who wrote them, subject to these terms and any content you choose to share. Do not attempt to access another person’s private vault. Do not copy, publish, or forward someone’s private spiritual content without clear permission, except where the app’s own sharing tools are used as designed.
When you share
When you use sharing tools — sending a word to another member, submitting to the Wall, passing a prayer note, or asking a sermon question — you understand that content leaves your private vault and becomes visible to the intended recipients and, where applicable, leadership reviewers.
Community conduct
Speak truthfully and treat others with honor.
- No harassment, threats, sexual exploitation, hate, or illegal content.
- No spam, scraping, or attempts to disrupt the service.
- No impersonation of leadership or other members.
- Prophetic sharing tools are for the life of the house, not for manipulation or public spectacle.
Spiritual content — important limits
The Bridge supports discipleship, prayer, and the life of this local house. It is not a substitute for professional counseling, medical care, legal advice, or emergency services. If you are in crisis or may harm yourself or others, contact local emergency services or a crisis line (in the U.S., you can call or text 988). Sermons, music, posts, and shared words are offered for spiritual growth, not as guarantees of specific outcomes.
Scripture and licensed text
Bible text may be provided under licenses from publishers (including NASB® where enabled). You may use Scripture within the app for personal study and ordinary ministry use allowed by those licenses. You may not systematically download, republish, or commercially redistribute licensed Bible text outside what the license and the law allow.
Music, sermons, and house media
Music, sermons, images, logos, and written teaching on the service are owned by Arise Church or used with permission. You may stream and share links in ordinary personal or ministry ways. You may not sell, rebrand, or mass-redistribute our media without written permission.
Space sharing
Facility requests, Organization Portal calendars, fees or waived-fee arrangements, insurance requirements, and access rules are governed by Arise Church’s space-sharing practices and any written agreement with your organization. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. Approved use remains subject to house rules, safety, and cleaning expectations.
AI-assisted tools
Some features may use third-party AI services (for example, transcription of sermons, original-language study aids, or leadership-only pastoral summaries). AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. You remain responsible for how you use any AI-assisted text. Do not treat AI output as authoritative Scripture, doctrine, or professional advice.
Availability and changes
We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, pause, or end as the house’s needs change. We may update these terms; the effective date will change, and continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arise Church disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that data will never be lost. Keep your own backups of important journal content using the export tools where available.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arise Church and its leaders, staff, and volunteers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100) or the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold harmless Arise Church and its leaders from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Michigan will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where prohibited by law.
